Get Involved
We were created to work together. Church isn’t a building; it’s a group of people working together to show others the love of Jesus. At VCC, one of the best ways to do that is to serve on a team. Serving is a great opportunity to get involved, connect with others, and potentially find your calling!

VCC practices believer’s baptism. Adults and children who have chosen to follow Christ and understand the meaning of baptism are encouraged to take this step in obedience to Christ. While water baptism does not save you, it provides an opportunity to publicly identify with Jesus. Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward reality and is a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Those interested in being baptized as an expression of their faith in Christ and in obedience to the Word are invited to attend a baptism class prior to being baptized.
We believe that the biblical pattern reminds us that baptism follows belief in Christ for salvation.
Therefore, we do not baptize infants or young children, but provide the opportunity for parents to dedicate their children to the Lord.

Child Dedication
As a parent, you have the greatest influence in your child’s spiritual upbringing, teaching your child what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. At Victor Community Church, child dedication is more than an event; it is the beginning of a partnership that is designed to influence a child to find and follow Jesus!
We are so excited to come alongside you on this parenting adventure. Child dedication is an opportunity for parents of young children/infants to make a commitment before God to raise their child according to God’s ways. This is the beginning of a journey where you, the parent, partner with us, the church.
We believe that biblical baptism is for believers; therefore we do not baptize infants. Infants of believing parents can be dedicated to the Lord, but are not baptized until they can personally articulate their faith and the purpose of baptism.
